Babchi Edible Oil is extracted from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia. The cold-pressed method is essential because the primary active compound, Psoralen, is heat-sensitive. This compound acts as a natural photo-sensitizer, meaning it helps the skin react to light to produce pigment.
